Georgia’s football recruiting battle begins with Georgia’s top recruits


Georgias top football recruits will take the field on Saturday at Georgia Tech.

The Bulldogs, who have the No. 1 class in the nation, will be looking to solidify a spot in the top four for the next three years.

Georgia Tech is the top-ranked team in the SEC West heading into the season.

The 2017 class will include five-star wide receiver A’Shawn Robinson, a five-stars cornerback Jalen Ward, two-star defensive tackle Alex Cusimano and a three-star tight end.

The Dawgs are also hoping to add a linebacker to the roster.

The team will be bringing in two of its top recruits in tight end Zach Collins (No. 1 in the state) and quarterback Malik Golden (No 1 in Georgia).

The Dawg offense is led by star running back Rashard Higgins.

He leads the Bulldogs in rushing with 1,719 yards and the team has rushed for 1,054 yards and two touchdowns in the past three seasons.

In addition to Higgins, the Bulldogs also have the likes of redshirt freshman receiver Isaiah Ford, the team’s No. 2 wide receiver, and tight end Anthony Brown.
