Miami is poised to become a national power again.
Its already the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class.
But the Gators also boast one of the best football facilities in the country, with more than 100 football players at some of the nation�s top colleges.
So when the 2017 class came out, it seemed like Miami was in the driver�s seat.
The Gators have the No. 2 overall recruiting class in the nation, and they’re poised to make a splash.
The nation�t overstayed its welcome.
The nation ranked the Hurricanes No. 4 nationally in 2019.
They ranked No. 3 in 2020.
But in 2017, the Hurricanes fell from No. 5 to No. 7, and had the nation ranked No, 6, in 2019 and No. 9 in 2020 before falling again to No, 12 in 2021.
The program is also ranked No., 17 in 2022, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
The 2018 class also had the No, 2 ranking.
The 2018 class had the fifth-highest overall ranking in program history, behind only the 2016 and 2017 classes.
The class also ranked 10th in the ACC in 2018.
The 2017 and 2018 classes also had No. 13 and No 14 in the overall rankings.
In 2019, the Gators had the fourth-highest average attendance at their games, with just under 13,000 fans in attendance per game.
In 2020, the attendance was the fourth highest in program and the fourth lowest in the league.

The Florida coaching staff is led by former Miami assistant Jim McElwain, who has been a head coach at Florida for 11 years.
McElsays offensive system, which utilizes a power running game and spread offense, is based around the play-action passing game, which is very similar to that of Miami.
He has built a program that is loaded with talent, but also a lot of tradition.
The Miami coaching staff has a history of winning.
In the past 10 seasons, the program has won two ACC titles and has a combined 31 bowl games.
The Miami coaching ranks in the top 10 nationally in total offense, scoring offense, passing offense and total defense.
In fact, in the 10 seasons since McElwas first coaching the Hurricanes, the school has won more than 10 games each season, according a recent ESPN.com ranking.
Miami has won at least 12 games four times in the past decade.
The last time it won at the same level was in 2016.The team�s recruiting staff is headed by former NFL defensive back Dante Fowler Jr., who was the No 1 player in the class of 2018.
Fowler also coached the Miami Hurricanes from 2009-12.
In 2018, the team finished as the No., 15 team in the 247Sports composite rankings.
