Oklahoma’s 2018 recruiting class is expected to be the best ever, according to a ranking released by the league office.
The Oklahoma City Thunder won the 2019 NBA draft lottery by selecting guard Tyus Jones in the first round.
The 2018 recruiting rankings also saw Oklahoma gain five recruits, including guard T.J. McDonald and forward Marcus Lee.
Oklahoma also received four transfers to the 2019 class, including forwards Ryan Johnson, Sammie Jones, Jourdan Jackson and Marcus Lewis.
In total, Oklahoma received a total of 14 players from the 2018 class, but only seven from 2019, with four of those transfers from 2019’s class.
The 2019 recruiting class, which is comprised of three guards, is the most successful in league history.
The Thunder had 11 players selected in the 2018 draft, which ranked fourth in the league.
Okla.com ranked the 2019 Thunder’s class as the eighth best in the history of the NBA.
